Tasting note

Succulent, deep and spicy, this is a really quite lovely blend that is impactful with some charming oak, black pepper spice and floral aromatics. Excellent value with an appealing sweaty and meaty character. Notes of plum and a touch of rubber indicate a slight reductive character but it is well in check. Score - 91. Garnet in colour, this red boasts a medium nose exuding empyreumatic, spicy, floral, fruity and vegetal aromas. Discover this medium-bodied wine expressing refreshing acidity and offering a slender texture and fleshy tannins. It also unveils a medium mouthfeel that leads into a medium finish.

The presence of iron and quartz in this poor and gravelly soil brings out characteristics specific to the Négrette grape variety : aromas of violet and berries (black berry, cherry and black currant). A genuine, unique wine, boasting its terroir of origin.
