Tasting note
The Grand Village is wine from their family estate and their 2009, a blend of 75% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Franc, is a sleeper of the vintage. The good news is that there are 5,000 cases of this wine, which shows loads of raspberries and cherries, silky tannins, wonderful elegance and a medium-bodied mouthfeel.
