Tasting note

A bit backward still, with more alder and mesquite leading the way, while the lightly mulled plum, blackberry and black currant fruit sits in the wings. Dark ganache and a chewy, tarry finish keep this shrouded for now, but there's good stuffing for the cellar. Yet likely to stay on the slightly rustic side of things. Best from 2015 through 2027.
