Tasting note

The cool 2013 season produced some great carmenère, like this tense red from Peumo. It feels electric, the flavors red, fresh and herbal, the tannins spicy and sharply defined. It shows an agile and cheerful side of the variety, as the team at Concha y Toro explores a refreshing style of carmenère. Best Buy. Score - 94. (wineandspiritsmagazine.com, June 2015)
LCBO
Dry, medium bodied and packed with dark raspberry and black cherry flavours, with just the right touch of toasty oak character. Elegant and suave with a backbone of bright acidity and light tannins balancing the ripe fruit flavours on the finish. A Carmenere with finesse worthy of your dinner table.
Liquor Marts
"Decanting this wine, the aroma was reminiscent of fine Bordeaux, which is appropriate as the Carmenere varietal originally comes from there. Transplanted to Chile it is a star. Highly recommended."
