Tasting note

A classy, lively and spice-filled Syrah, the 2012 Crozes Hermitage Les Launes offers up lots of cedar, peppered meats and sweet red and black fruits, medium-bodied richness, and outstanding purity and length. Aged all in vat, drink it over the coming 5-7 years. Score - 90. (Jeb Dunnuck, robertparker.com, Dec. 2014)

This dry purplish red coloured wine features medium spicy, floral and fruity scents and offers a broad texture as well as fleshy tannins.

Features good stuffing, with a singed mesquite edge to the solid core of blackberry, black cherry preserves and steeped plum notes. The finish picks up pastis and graphite, revealing a stony echo.
