Tasting note

The nose offers aromas of black cherry, raspberry, bumbleberry jam, vanilla, meat and smoke. Silky and soft with a lovely mouthfeel and boldly presented fruit and spice tones. There is some heat on the long, satisfying finish. A good value, and great for barbecue fare such as grilled pork ribs. (Vintages panel, Nov. 2015)

This dry, full-bodied and woody red displays a complex and intense nose. On the palate, its refreshing acidity, fleshy tannins, and broad texture precede a long finish.
