Tasting note
Purplish red in colour, this red boasts a medium nose exuding animal, woody, floral, fruity and vegetal aromas. Discover this full-bodied wine expressing lively acidity and offering a broad texture and fleshy tannins. It also unveils a medium mouthfeel that leads into a long finish.
In the 1850s Chile adopted Bordeaux varietals and winemaking traditions of that era. Fast forward to today and it is still in vogue with the ripeness of the Colchagua Valley and Bordeaux tradition of Chateau Lafite-Rothschild.
