Tasting note
Oaky nose, and slight struck-match reduction-like aroma. Quite oaky on the palate too but enlivened by a mouthwatering freshness and juicy fruit. Surprisingly soft tannins already. Drink to 2018. Score - 16.5 (out of 20 (Distinguished to Superior)). (Julia Harding, MW, jancisrobinson.com, Feb. 4, 2013)
Orangey red in colour, this red boasts a medium nose exuding empyreumatic, spicy, fruity and vegetal aromas. Discover this medium-bodied wine expressing lively acidity and offering a broad texture and firm tannins. It also unveils a medium mouthfeel that leads into a medium finish.
