Tasting note
This dry, full-bodied and spicy red displays a complex and intense nose. On the palate, its refreshing acidity, fleshy tannins, and broad texture precede a long finish.
Don Melchor Cabernet Sauvignon is a deep, dark-red and has a bouquet of ripe fruit, chocolate and tobacco, accompanied with notes of vanilla. The palate is smooth with good depth, balanced and very elegant.
Colour: Deep purple with ruby red hues. Aroma: Ripe, densely packed with black cherry and dark plum. Slightly spicy, with bitter chocolate complemented by coconut toasted notes. Palate: Notes of dark plums with firm round tannins and a velvety texture. A smooth, well-balanced and mouth filling wine. Food Pairing: All different kinds of grilled meat. Lamb stews with herbs and other preparations based on this meat or game meats. Indian-inspired dishes will harmonize tremendously well with the wine.

Starting with advice and encouragement with Bordeaux consultants in the 1980s, the first vintage was released in 1987. With pleasure, we offer the 2010 vintage which is exceptionally priced for its Wine Spectator 95 point rating and #9 on the Wine Spectator Top 100 list of 2014. Can cellar for 10-15 years.
