Tasting note

The Pira winery is located in the village of Barolo, Italy. This luxury Barolo has been aged in lightly toasted French oak for 24 months and one year further in the bottle prior to its release. The vines which are located at Via Nuova and face southeast at an altitude of 340 meters are tended by hand and the grapes hand-harvested. Dark red fruit, spices, menthol and sweet licorice; gorgeous length, with a mineral-laced finish.
