Tasting note
This is elegant and layered, with notes of savory smoked meat, spice, dark fruit, blackberry and leather. It shows a very dark, brooding and masculine personality with polished tannins and impressive length. Score - 92. (Monica Larner, Wine Enthusiast, Dec. 31, 2012)
Under the purplish red colour, the nose is intense and complex. Enjoy this dry, full-bodied and woody red featuring refreshing acidity. On the palate, it showcases firm tannins and a broad mouthfeel that leads into a long finish.
