Tasting note
Oregon produces some of the world's finest Pinot Noir. This version offers an intriguing nose that provides suggestions of strawberry and rhubarb mingled with a touch of smoke. Dry and tangy with a good backbone of acidity. Red cherry and earth notes are prominent, and again a nice smoky character adding complexity. Enjoy this very well priced Oregonian with grilled portobello-mushroom burgers. (VINTAGES panel, Nov. 2010)
Richly aromatic, warm berry fruit and hints of vanilla cream. Blackcherry and raspberry flavours in the mouth continue through to the rich finish.
Elegant, with aromas of sliced strawberries and fresh raspberries. Surprisingly rich, with flavors of baker's chocolate and freshly roasted coffee beans. Generous mouthfeel with a soft finish.
Vibrant cherry and sweet spice aromas jump out of the glass and the taste of the first round of summer raspberries and strawberries push the burst of fruit straight through to the surprisingly long finish. Grapes for this wine, as in previous years, were sourced from throughout the Willamette, Umpqua, Rogue and Walla Walla Valleys, creating a truly Oregon blend.
