The 2010 Carpineta Fontalpino Chianti Classico delivers wonderful aromas and flavors of blackberry, cherry, spices and mineral. Well-rounded and focused, with a pretty, velvety finish. This dry, full-bodied and fruity red displays a complex and medium nose. On the palate, its refreshing acidity, fleshy tannins, and broad texture precede a medium finish.
