Tasting note

What is that old saying, 'Go for the gold?' Whoever said it must have been thinking about this wine. An impressive nose with notes of buttered popcorn, pear, pineapple and grilled mango. Bursting with ripe orchard and tropical fruit flavours and hefty but well-integrated, balanced oak, the flavours just go on and on. The acidity is fresh and vibrant and keeps things light right through the toasty finish. A winner with barbecued chicken or Cornish hen. (VINTAGES panel, July 2013)

This dry golden yellow coloured wine features medium woody, spicy and fruity scents and offers a full-bodied texture.
