Tasting note

Medium ruby; aromas of cherry, licorice, earth and herbs; flavours repeat on the palate with notes of vibrant red berries from start to finish; dry, medium bodied, medium acidity and gentle tannins.

Dark and deeply coloured for a southern Rhone. On the nose are hints of spices, pine trees, pepper, white mint, black olives and cooked red berries. On the palate it appears smooth, velvety at first, then fatness and acidity rise together. A tight matrix of well-made tannins with concentration and elegance. The mid-palate is balanced, showing aromas of saffron and licorice, griotte and blonde tobacco. A rich and lingering freshness on the finish.
