Tasting note

Made in a dry style that leans more to the Italian Pinot Grigio end of the PG scale rather than Alsace, this has aromas of ripe peach, yellow plum and citrus fruit. Crisp and expressive, with good acidity and a refreshing finish. This is ideal for shrimp or chicken in a lemon butter cream sauce. (VINTAGES panel, Aug. 2014)

Gehringer specializes in dry styled whites with plenty of concentration and purpose and are superb values. Pinot Gris works very well with food as the body weight and fruit nuances contribute to enhance the dish and provide refreshment.
