Tasting note
An intense bright ruby colour; shows fragrant aromas of red cherry/cranberry and spice with earthy/floral, cracked peppery notes; dry, soft and rounded palate, delightfully fresh and tart with easy taninns, shows forward flavours of stawberry, sour cherry, pepper and herb, with notes of dark candied fruit and sweet spice.
This dry, light and fruity red displays a simple and medium nose. On the palate, its refreshing acidity, smooth tannins, and slender texture precede a medium finish.
The 'Village' designation means this wine is of a higher quality level than Duboeuf's other Beaujolais (see those comments too). Expect those bright, tasty cherry flavours but with more concentration and depth.
An intense, brilliant cherry color with purplish tints. Complex nose with red and black berry aromas of raspberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants. A smooth wine with fine tannins, harmonious and complete.
