Tasting note
Opaque ruby. Aromas of cherry compote, cassis, blueberry and cola are lifted by a peppery note. Lush, supple and sweet, offering seamless dark fruit and spicecake flavors that take on greater brightness with aeration. This very sexy wine finishes smooth and pliant, with round tannins and a touch of smokiness. Drinking window: 2018-2024. Score - 90. (Josh Raynolds, vinous.com, March 2016)
