Tasting note

The vines in Langhorne Creek are doubly blessed with cool breezes from Lake Alexandrina and the Southern Ocean, which moderate temperatures and provide the region with a long growing season that allows grapes to ripen fully while maintaining freshness and vibrancy. This wine offers aromas and flavours of blackberry, cassis and caramel with a light touch of savoury herbs adding complexity throughout the long finish. (VINTAGES panel, Sept. 2015)

Colour is intense, deep crimson red. The nose is powerful with intense eucalypt character telltale of Langhorne Creek. The fruit intensity is supported by well integrated oak. The wine is medium bodied with exceptional fruit intensity. Classic cassis and date flavours with a long, long finish.
