Tasting note
What a beguiling fragrant nose here - bursting with just ripened blackcurrants, cranberry, fresh cedar/evergreen, graphite and well fixed background oak. It's quite full bodied and fairly dense with cabernet sinew and some greenness, but it is the quality and purity of the fruit that is centre stage. And it doesn't lose focus. Excellent to outstanding length. Best 2017 to 2020+. Score - 92. (David Lawrason, winealign.com, Sept. 10, 2015)
This dry and ruby coloured red showcases a complex nose releasing animal, woody, empyreumatic, spicy and fruity scents. You will be charmed with this full-bodied wine revealing a broad texture, fleshy tannins and a long finish.
