Tasting note
Pale to medium ruby in color, the 2010 Kooyong Estate Pinot Noir offers pure scents of red cherry compote, warm cranberries and crushed raspberries with an underlying touch of red flowers plus a whiff of lavender. Medium-bodied with mouth-filling red berry flavors, it has a solid backbone of crisp acid and low to medium level of finely grained tannins, finishing long and a little earthy. Approachable now, it should cellar to 2018+. Score - 91. (Lisa Perrotti-Brown, MW, erobertparker.com, June 2012)
This dry and ruby coloured red showcases a complex nose releasing woody, empyreumatic, spicy, floral, fruity and mineral scents. You will be charmed with this medium-bodied wine revealing a broad texture, smooth tannins and a long finish.
