Tasting note

My favorite wine from La Posta. It's firm, crunchy, tense, and red with a tremendous palate. Score - 93. (Patricio Tapia, Descorchados Wine Guide, 2017)

Ripe and flashy, with a showy layer of mocha leading the way for spice cake, raspberry and boysenberry fruit flavors laid over a lush, creamy finish. Dense but light, with the fruit echoing through the finish.

Earthy minerals, spice box, tobacco, lavender, and black cherry compose the nose of this elegant, nicely proportioned, lengthy red that also offers outstanding value. It will provide considerable pleasure over the next 5-6 years.
