Tasting note
The 2007 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Bellovedere is one of the more exotic Montepulcianos I tasted this year. Big, rich and sensual, the Bellovedere shows plenty of intensity and delineation in its black fruit. With time in the glass the wine's inner perfume emerges, framing the fruit nicely to a polished, bright finish. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2022. Score - 92.
