Tasting note
A blend of 85% Tempranillo, 10% Mazuelo and 5% Graciano, the 2010 Lanciano Reserva is sourced from Lanciano estate along the River Ebro, northeast of Fuenmayor. It has a combination of herbal, balsamic and ripe aromas with a medium to full-bodied palate and plenty of influence from the oak, but there is better integration of tannins and acidity, perhaps the natural balance of the vintage. Drink: 2015-2023. Score - 91. (Luis Gutierrez, robertparker.com, April 2015)
Under the ruby colour, the nose is medium and complex. Enjoy this dry, full-bodied and fruity red featuring refreshing acidity. On the palate, it showcases fleshy tannins and a broad mouthfeel that leads into a long finish.
