Tasting note
Rounded and ripe white peach and pear on the nose and palate of this mouth-filling, balanced Niagara Chardonnay. Green apple emerges mid-palate and there's a long, crisp finish. Score - 91. (Natalie MacLean, nataliemaclean.com, July 19, 2014)
This dry and golden yellow coloured white showcases a complex nose releasing woody, empyreumatic, floral and fruity scents. You will be charmed with this medium-bodied wine revealing a full-bodied texture and a long finish.
Truly a wine whose texture and length is matched by its purity of fruit. Village Reserve Chardonnay needs some time, but has lovely layers of pure floral nectarine and papaya-laced fruit, with a solid line of taut mineral Chardonnay flavours, finishing on almond-inflected, minerally stone fruit.
