Tasting note
Orangey red in colour, this red boasts a medium nose exuding woody, spicy, fruity and vegetal aromas. Discover this medium-bodied wine expressing lively acidity and offering a slender texture and smooth tannins. It also unveils a medium mouthfeel that leads into a medium finish.
This wine is very typical of the Pinot Noir grape grown in its mother land, with its style of little red fruits aromas in its youth evolving to more complex aromas of spices and undergrowth with age. When young, it will perfect slightly chilled with grilled or broiled red meat. After 2 years, it will be perfect with more sophisticated dished like mild game or soft cheeses.
Made with grapes only from what is considered the best area in Burgundy, this Pinot Noir has aromas of red cherry, cranberry and spice. On the palate, it is dry and medium-bodied with fine grained tannins and mouth-watering acidity. Pairs to perfection with duck, seafood and soft cheese.
