Tasting note

Complex, full-bodied yet subtle Italian red wine. Gorgeous aromas of dried black cherry, cedar, smoke, fleshy blackberries from an iconic producer. This full-bodied red wine is the second wine to Frescobaldi's flagship label Luce. It's a blend of Merlot, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, and it was aged for 1 year in French barriques. This is the magnum size of this wine, equivalent to two regular (750 ml) bottles. Decant for 1 hour and you're ready to go! The grapes are sourced from the same vineyards as Luce aged in oak barriques in the winery at Montalcino. Pair this wine with prime rib. Drink: 2018-2027. Score - 93.
