Tasting note
Medium ruby. Currant, cherry, spices, licorice and peppery fresh herbs on the nose. Suave and energetic, showing some distinctly peppery cabernet character but coming across as balanced and fresh. Finishes with firm, spicy tannins and good length and cut. Score - 88. (Stephen Tanzer, vinous.com, March 2014)
An elegant and complex wine. Purple colour, intense & spicy with dark berries and vanilla notes. Blackberries and dark fruit lead into a long juicy finish and a smooth texture. Pairs well with BBQ steak. 90 Pts Wine Advocate #191
