Tasting note
Sets the stage with intense aromas of cola, wild blackberry, fig, vanilla and toast. On the palate it's gushing with ripe, dark fruit and accented by smoky/vanilla undertones. A good choice for steak fajitas, burgers, or beef stew. (VINTAGES panel, Oct. 2014)
Red fruits, with subtle notes of tobacco and chocolate. The oak provides this wine elegance and soft vanilla touches. Concentrated, balanced tannins and great persistence.
Featured in TASTE Magazine, Winter 2012 issue. Consistently good vintages have yielded another full-bodied Malbec, redolent in ripe, black cherries and spice, with soft, supple tannins on a long, smooth finish. It could easily cellar for a couple of years, but is best served up this holiday season with family and friends.
