Tasting note

This juicy Malbec is sourced from 50-year-old vines that yield fewer but very flavourful -- and therefore coveted -- grapes. It's filled with raspberry, plum, dark chocolate and spicy notes. Serve it alongside grilled gourmet sausages or thick-cut steaks.

Luigi Bosca Malbec is an intense purple colour wine, with distinct aromas of ripe red fruits, spices and black pepper. The intensity of the entry in the mouth is complemented with the softness and sweetness of tannins, respecting the characteristics of the grape variety in Argentina. Pure, full-bodied, well-structured red wine with character and all the juiciness typical of this variety. A long lingering and elegant finish.

Black currant, blackberry and roasted herbs atop leather and dark espresso. It has excellent concentration of sweet briary fruit, baking spices and pepper and cocoa/mocha. Substantial with very good length and balance. The attack of this wine is dry with light tannins and savoury, earthy, leather, cherry flavours, with bits of curry spice and tea leaf. Serve this with a big, juicy grilled hamburger for best effect.
