Tasting note
Sebastián Zuccardi uses grapes from the length and breadth of the Uco Valley in this pan-regional Malbec, made without oak to allow the aromatic, plum, blackberry and violet notes full expression. A very serious wine at the price, this is a great introduction to the joys of the winery's Malbec range. Drink: 2016-2019. Score - 90. (Tim Atkin, MW, timatkin.com, 2016)
Tempranillo: Soft entry with silky tannins and a balanced acidity. Well developed with a long finish. Malbec: Silky beginning with great structure and soft, mature tannins. Intense fruity flavours and a persistent finish.
