Tasting note

Wise men that they are, the three co-owners of MAN Vintners -- Jose Condé, and brothers Tyrrel and Philip Myburgh -- named the winery by selecting the first letter of their wives's names Marie, Anette and Nicky (MAN). That way, they can always say to their wives, 'we do this all for you,' when they aren't at home early in the evening. Their Chardonnay is a lush, flavourful, gently oaked number that is a great partner for cream-based pastas and chicken dishes.
