Tasting note
This dry, light and fruity red displays a simple and intense nose. On the palate, its refreshing acidity, smooth tannins, and broad texture precede a medium finish.
A medium bodied, fruity red that enjoys enticing aromas of dark berries, boysenberries, and raspberries. A sweet entry of brown sugar and molasses is follwed by a bit of orange zest and coriander. The core reveals fleshy plum flavours, with a spicy note of cardamon from oak aging. Rich in texture with a lingering finish.
We specialize in Pinot Noir and our 2012 vintage is one of our best - a medium-bodied, fruity red that features scents of spice, dark fruit, and cassis with notes of savory and smoky oak. The core reveals a pleasing mix of black cherry, cola, strawberry, plum, and soft tannins balanced out by a round mouthfeel. Rich in texture with a lingering finish, this versatile wine is delicious on its own or paired with a juicy cheeseburger, grilled salmon, or Thanksgiving with all of the fixings.
Featured in TASTE Magazine, Spring 2012 issue. What a delicious wine! Aromatic flavours of raspberries, violets, vanilla and clove characterize this richly-fruited, appealing Pinot Noir with resonant length. Along with considerable concentration, this wine is silky yet well-structured with taut acidity and soft, supple tannins. Pair with roast chicken.
