Tasting note
Deep, bright red. Sexy black raspberry and floral pastille aromas show good clarity and a zesty overtone of Asian spices. Silky and appealingly sweet on the palate, offering lively red fruit liqueur and spicecake flavors that deepen and spread out with aeration. A smoky nuance comes up on the long, sappy finish that's framed by smooth, even tannins. Drinking window: 2017-2021. Score - 90. (Josh Raynolds, vinous.com, May 2015)
