My cellar
Tasting note
A real bargain here, cellarworthy but also infinitely pleasurable now. Tannins have soften[ed] just enough allowing unencumbered access to the fruit and fleshy mouthfeel. Colour is suprisingly still violet while the palate offers great personality without sweetness or weightiness. Expressive and unadulterated with excellent concentration. Complex notes are beginning to reveal themselves. Very good length with lovely balance and harmony. Lingering finish of tomato leaf, black currant and black licorice. Seductive. Best 2017-2020. Tasted August 2016. Score - 91. (Sara d'Amato, winealign.com, Sept. 6, 2016)
This dry, full-bodied and woody red displays a complex and intense nose. On the palate, its refreshing acidity, fleshy tannins, and broad texture precede a long finish.
Rich, velvety, complex and elegant. Packed with baked fruit, hints of cocoa and vanilla on the finish.
Rich and fragrant with its nose of ripe fruit, plums, cherry compote, cinnamon and cloves, this wine is soft and full-bodied on the palate. It combines weight with elegance, excellent acidity, juicy fruit and soft tannins.
