Tasting note

Clear ruby red colour; cassis, plum, vanilla and spicy oak aromas, nicely complex; dry, medium-full body, rounded tannins, fresh blackberry, spice and herbal flavours with balanced acidity and medium length finish.

Ripe, concentrated plum, sun-baked cherries and cassis-scented fruit emerge on the palate. The long finish is etched with bittersweet chocolate and clove spice.

Opens with big plum, blackberry and dark cherry aromas, laced with the classic dried herb note of the southern Okanagan. The palate has a gush of dark fruit and juicy acidity, along with subtle flavors of spice, vanilla and cedar.

A spicy, fruit forward wine with currant and dark cherry aromas, laced with subtle notes of sage and lavender. The medium bodied palate shows plenty of dark and red fruits, juicy acidity, and subtle flavors of sage, vanilla and sandalwood.

The Cabernet/Merlot twosome is the basis here for an angular muscled red that has blackcurrant fruit and excellent soft tannins. This is a perfect sipper on its own or pair with grilled meats, barbecue ribs or vegetarian fare.
