Tasting note

There appears to be a lot of oak in the bouquet and palate, and the fruit ripeness is very evident, all adding up to a full-bodied shiraz that needs to lose as much of its puppy fat as possible. Drink By: 2032. Score - 92. (James Halliday, winecompanion.com.au, July 27, 2015)

Colour: Deep, vibrant crimson red. Bouquet: Lifted pure aromatics of darker berry fruits and spice: blackberries, plums, mocha, toasty vanilla oak. Palate: The palate is powerful and extremely focussed with great depth of fruit character that is well framed by fine grain tannin, and drawn together to a long finish by naturally balanced acidity.

Vibrant, rich and earthy, savoury dusty tannins, long finish.
