A medium intensity straw colour with green highlights, this Semillon’s unique bouquet is vibrant, complex and effusive. With layers of citrus fruit, lemon curd, honey and hints of toast, the wine also shows subtle undertones of crushed quartz and wild herbs. It has a long and complex palate exhibiting youthful vibrancy and aged complexity. Primary citrus fruits intertwine with mineral acidity and developing toasty, aged influences. Flavour, weight and texture add to the length and breadth of this delicate, complex and structured palate. Cellaring and Pairing Suggestions: The benchmark for Australian Semillon is best aged 10-15 years and beyond. The perfect accompaniment to seafood, especially raw oysters.
