Tasting note
I like the intensity of licorice, tar and graphite on the nose, not to mention the blackberry character. Full body, firm and velvety tannins and a long and flavorful finish. Racy. Drink in 2017. Score - 92. (James Suckling, jamessuckling.com, May 3, 2016)
Dark and dense aromas of cassis, and ripe black cherry, intermingle with notes of coca nibs and cardamom. Hints of leather and bay waft out of the glass.
