Tasting note

Intense concentration of black fruit flavours with blackberry liqueur on the nose of this Australian Shiraz. A hint of mint emerges as well. Full-bodied and smooth. Great depth and balance with a long finish. Great persistence of flavours, longing and desire. Pair with grilled pork chops tonight. Pair with: chicken lababdar, black bean soup, blue cheese, char-grilled lamb cutlets, Balsamic grilled radicchio. Drink: [Now]-2018. Score - 92. (Natalie MacLean, nataliemaclean.com, Jan. 2015)

Aromas of cherry and plum melded with dark chocolate, vanillin and all-spice. A rich and full bodied wine displaying powerful concentration of juicy dark plum, chocolate and anise with silky tannins and great length. This one calls for a hearty Beef Burgundy or Osso Buco dish.
