Tasting note
We began with an uncharacteristically light Zin, the 2013 Ironstone 'Old Vines' Zinfandel. It was smooth with notes of tobacco and cherry - a lovely wine that I likened more to a Rioja than a Californian, but that is a style I certainly enjoy. (Diane Letulle, examiner.com, Sept. 17, 2014)
