Tasting note

Medium ruby red colour; aromas and flavours of plum and bramble fruit; dry, medium to full bodied, with dusty tannins on the finish.

Garnet color with a warm bouquet of blackcurrant, blueberry, blue plum, mulberry and sweet spice. A medium-bodied red wine that is very approachable, making for a great sipping wine or food-friendly companion. Enjoy with barbecued steaks and sautéed mushrooms or 1 year old Canadian cheddar.

The Cabernet and Merlot grapes work very well together. Hints of herbs, earth and cocoa match up to black fruit notes that are well balanced and lively. Try this wine with pizza, burgers, grill action or vegetarian dishes.
