Tasting note

Deep crimson in colour with notes of boysenberry and herbs on the nose. Medium-bodied, with flavours of red liquorice, sour-cherry, blackcurrant pastille. Tannins are fine, elongated, and classy.

Good depth with a dark core and crimson edges. Dark fruits including blackcurrant on the nose as well as savoury green olive, roasted red peppers, tomato leaf and oregano. Mixed spice, cedar and rosewood notes derived from oak. The palate is tightly structured and focused. Grainy and savoury tannin profile. Structured by classy French and American oak. Decanting will bring out more expressive notes. Pairs well with roasted meats, cured meats and spicy chorizo.
