Tasting note

Fully chocolate and raisin aromas on the nose, with intensity that would make most amarone blush with envy: this is like X-mas cake in a glass. There's certainly a sweet impression if not some residual sugar on the palate, like PX sherry or tawny port, so nutty is this. Long, hot finish on 16% alcohol. A wine from another time, your 'grandfather's tradition'. Can't argue with the concentration and flavour intensity. I suppose, try with Mexican mole sauce or Vindaloo. A real tour de force.
