Tasting note
This vintage rivals MacRostie's 2006 and 2007 bottlings. It's already delicious thanks to the raspberry, cherry and persimmon flavors that gain complexity from baking spice and sweet, toasty oak notes. The brisk acidity is just about perfect, and the finish is long and rich. Score - 93. (Steve Heimoff, Wine Enthusiast, April 2013)
