Porseleinberg (Porcelain Mountain) is the Swartland property of Marc Kent and Boekenhoutskloof, the only South African winery to be rated “Outstanding” by Robert Parker: "100% whole bunch fermented in concrete vats before ageing in 65% foudres and 35% concrete vats. It has a pleasant bouquet of raspberry, cranberry, bay leaf and white pepper that is well defined that grows in intensity. The palate is ripe and taut on the entry with tobacco-tinged, brambly black fruit that is very well defined. It has great minerality and tension, with superb symmetry and poise on the finish.
