Tasting note
The 2014 Three Valleys, Ridge's entry-level Zinfandel-based red, is a delicious, value-priced red to drink young, while the fruit remains vibrant. Sweet floral notes and a burst of spiciness round out the 2014 edition. Drinking window: 2016-2018. Score - 89. (Antonio Galloni, vinous.com, July 2016)
This dry and purplish red coloured red showcases a complex nose releasing spicy, floral and fruity scents. You will be charmed with this full-bodied wine revealing a broad texture, firm tannins and a long finish.
Fruity and peppery with firm tannins.
Garnet in color with aromas of cherry and raspberry fruits, wintergreen, savory herbs, barrel spice. Cherry fruit on entry along with lively acidity, medium bodied, and a smooth tannin texture, with a gravelly-clay mineral finish.
