Tasting note

This dry, full-bodied and fruity red displays a complex and medium nose. On the palate, its lively acidity, rough tannins, and broad texture precede a long finish.

Deep ruby red with garnet reflections. Rich bouquet with hints of red berries, spices like cocoa, vanilla and coffee. Well balances with a long structured finish.

The estate’s top wine, this 50-50 expression of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a dark ruby-garnet color and a pretty aromatic display that spans from dried berry and cassis to exotic spice and dried garden herb. The bouquet is especially buoyant and bright. In the mouth, however, the wine offers density, firmness and menthol-laced freshness. 91 points- James Suckling. This red shows plum and ripe strawberries on the nose and palate. It is full-bodied and velvety with soft tannins and a juicy finish.
