Tasting note
Given the name of this sake, we'll strive to avoid any Super Mario jokes. Water-white in the glass, this premium sake opens up with aromas of blanched almond, rice crackers and coconut water. There's a suggestion of sweetness on the palate and a lovely marzipan note, all culminating in a clean, elegant finish. Serve lightly chilled. (VINTAGES panel, Nov. 2013)
