A purple-flecked, intense ruby, its releases aromas of bottled wild cherries, and of blackberry and raspberry preserve, with hints of tobacco leaf and spices. The palate is notable for its breadth and velvety smoothness, with nuances of spice and aromas of raspberry and cherries adding considerable complexity. Overall, a very harmonious wine.
